How do you build the Sass files?

In the documentation there are clear instructions for how to use the LESS files, but how do you use the Sass files? For example, which Sass files should I compile and in which order? We badly need a working example with (preferably) Gulp, Grunt or at least some GUI tool. When will this be added to the documentation?
