The menu on the home page shows up by default in white color font. Once you scroll, it resizes and switches to black font.
my problem is that the first image on the home page is light colored and I need to start with a dark color font.
can I switch to black instead of white font?

This can be easily controlled in the Slider. Please make sure that the particular Slide's Class (where you want the Header's Text to be Black) does not have the .dark Class defined.
