Logo is overlapping the mobile menu icon, Don't know much about retina logo, not all themes use it. Attached is the clients logo, and before and after scroll effects. site can be seen at www.bchtexas.com/newsite

Your Canvas License is perfectly valid. :)
The Retina Image is used to show the Image is High Resolution on iPhone, iPads, Retina Macbooks and all the Devices which has higher pixel density so that image is always crisp and clear. You can simply check out the Documentation > Start > Logo Settings Section to setup a Retina Image for your Logo.
This will definitely work fine. Hope this Helps!
