Gallery photo order scrambled since upgrading to Canvas version 5.9

Question

Hello SemiColonWeb,

Since I updated a website to v5.9 of Canvas, if you enlarge a photo in the gallery (coastmetalsolutions.com/gallery.html), and then navigate through the photos, they aren't in the same order as they show on the thumb page, and (for example), if you click on the first photo, instead of it being called "1 of 13", it might be called "8 of 13"... the website user is still able to browse through all and only the relevant photos, but this disorder is confusing to me, and I can't see how it happened, since I didn't change anything to do with our gallery.

Let me know what you think, as it pertains to changes in v5.9, and let me know if you'd like me to post any of the relevant code.

Hello,

We have check out your Page and it is only happening once the Shuffle Button is pressed which randomizes the Items in the Grid. Unfortunately, this is the Default Behavior of the Lightbox and currently the Lightbox Gallery does not get updated once the Items are shuffled. We will try introducing this feature in the Future Updates. Thanks for your Patience.

When you say "Lightbox," are you referring to the Magnific Popup?

Is the shuffle/random feature coded in the Infinite Scroll plugin, or in your Canvas theme?

Once I understand, I can help you by posting a bug on Github, posting a question in Stack Overflow, or looking through the JavaScript to fix it.

Hello,

We understand, however, the IsoTope Plugin works in a different way. Just the Position of the Items are updated when the Shuffle is triggered, not the HTML Codes which is why even if you update the Magnific Popup, the order of the items will be same. We have check everything before replying to you above. :)

Thank you for that info... is the shuffle/random feature provided by the Isotope plugin, or is it coded in the Canvas theme?

I'd just like to know where the bug is located, so I can fix it.

The Shuffle is the feature of the IsoTope Plugin. This is actually not a bug. It is just how these plugins work.
