Is it possible to do validation without using php. I just want to use java servlets for web application, I don't want to use php files.

Unfortunately, we currently do not provide support for Backend Languages other than PHP. You can consider using: https://jqueryvalidation.org/ for Frontend Validations. This is already included within the Template, so you can simply create your own Custom Validation Codes according to your needs.
