Hi

I have a form working fine but the response message showing in a blank page:

{ "alert": "success", "message": "We have successfully received your Message and will get Back to you as soon as possible." }

Not sure what the issue is.

Ideally i'd like a seperate response page but would also like to know how to resolve this.

Thanks
Dan

Hello,

We have checked out your Codes and there is a .customjs Class applied to your .form-widget DIV. Simply remove this Class and the Form should work correctly.

Hope this Helps!

Hi

I added that class after reading on your forum about the same issue - i have removed it and it still does not work.

{ "alert": "success", "message": "We have successfully received your Message and will get Back to you as soon as possible." }

Can you please revisit this and provide a solution?

Thanks
Dan

Hello,

We have checked this out and it appears that there is some other JS Code on your Page which is conflicting with the Form's Button on Submit/Click event. This causes the Form to Submit without Validating and going through the AJAX Submission process. So this is caused by Customized Codes on your Page and not by Canvas's Codes.

If any of the Component of the Form or its Input is modified or controlled by any other JS Codes, remove and them and check this again, as they might be causing this issue.

Hope this Helps!

Ok - so the reason was i was trying to implement an editor for textarea - do you recommend one that will not cause this conflict please?

Hello,

If you can use this Plugin but then you will need to implement your own Custom AJAX Functionality for Forms on submission.

Unfortunately, we currently do not provide support for 3rd Party Plugins or Customizations according to the Item Support Policy: https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy . You will need to manually code this or Hire a Freelancer to help you out.
