FLEXSLIDER WITH THUMBS LEFT RIGHT ICONS???BUGGY

I AM TRYING TO USE THE FLEXSLIDER WITH THUMBS provided with the Canvas product. I have set the image size for the slider the same as images used in the wedding photographs provided....1140 x 600 and the thumbs at 400x300/ The floating arrows, left or right fall right on top of each other in both the large picture and the thumb. What is wrong here? What is the fix? Attached is screen shot of what I am talking about showing in the browser. This is the same on all devices and browsers I have used to test this.
