Flex Slider - disable nav

How would I disable the navigation arrows in flex slider dynamically?

EDIT: I notice also that the flexslider is still auto-sliding even if there is only one image - how do I disable this behaviour?

OK, I've achieved what I want to by using an if/else block to only build flex slider if multiple images.
I also found the available attributes in the functions.js file, so I don't need help with that either :)
