Fee for the Extended Licence

Hi,
I have spent the last few months building a website using an older Canvas version. The intention is that I will get paying customers and I understand that I will need to purchase an extended licence for Canvas at that point. I see that in your latest version of Canvas 80% of the code has changed and you recommend that this new version is used when building sites from scratch as there are too many changes to document for upgrading existing sites. I can understand this and appreciate all the work that has gone into making this more flexible and up to date. However, I cannot change my site to use the newer version. I will continue to use the older version. This does also mean that for my website in the future, I will not be able to avail of any of the regular updates you continue to make. Because of this, I am wondering if there is a lower licence fee that I can pay for the older version that I am using, as I need to only use the older version of Canvas. My site is for a small start-up business, my own, and the $800 fee is a big outlay for me, especially as I already know that am not going to be using the newer version and all new updates from now on, for this site, will never be of use to me. Can you let me know if you would consider a discount for the extended license under these circumstances?
Thanks,
Maria

Hello,

We absolutely understand, however, ThemeForest currently does not provide Special Discounts to Individual Users as it is not supported by their system. If would you be interested to make payments outside ThemeForest, please get in touch with us at semicolonweb@gmail.com? If not, then you will need to pay directly through ThemeForest based on the current rates.

Looking forward to your reply.

Meanwhile, do let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues with Canvas.
