I just publish my website but am getting errors

functions.js:206 plugins.bootstrap.js: Plugin could not be loaded
functions.js:206 plugins.lightbox.js: Plugin could not be loaded
functions.js:206 plugins.animations.js: Plugin could not be loaded
functions.js:206 plugins.carousel.js: Plugin could not be loaded

functions.js:206 plugins.readmore.js: Plugin could not be loaded
functions.js:1932 Uncaught ReferenceError: scwEvents is not defined at functions.js:1932

I don't get this error on my localhost, so I am not sure what exactly is going on

Hello,

This issue is due to the addition of the following code:
[ch_pre][/ch_pre]

Since you are using JS Async Loading for the JS Files, the AJAX Functionality causes conflicts with the `` URL functionality. Removing this will automatically fix the issue. Hope this Helps!

Let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues.

I removed it but it's still giving me the error. Mind you, this works perfectly fine locally, it's only when I went online that this problem came up

Apologies for the Inconveniences caused!

Please try using the updated js/functions.js File attached to this reply and this should fix the issue for you. Thanks for your Patience.

Error is no showing anymore, but the plugins are not working.

I just checked on my phone, and it's working perfectly on the phone!

This could be related to your Browser Cache. Simply clear your Browser Cache and refresh your Page and this should be automatically resolved.

Hope this Helps!

Can you confirm if it's working on your PC?

JJaySmokeJun 12, 2021

This can't be a caching problem. Cause I just tried it on firefox and it's the same thing.

Kindly see attached

We have just checked this out and we can confirm this. There are no errors related to the Plugins. Please consider checking this Video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Pn2aS1YdXbOc9S1w75Ci4eeo_cX1JyBB/view?usp=sharing .

Additionally, can you please provide us with a Screencast of the errors you are seeing so that we can investigate further. Thanks for your Patience.

We have just checked this on Safari as well and it is working fine for us. Can you please consider checking on some other PC and see if you are facing the same issue there as well? Thanks for your Patience.

Ok, I'll sleep on it and hopefully it will correct itself by morning.

I wanted to find out a few other things as well?

  1. Am seeing some strange characters when I type special letters, where can I correct this (see attached)
  2. Am using the modal from demo-furniture on https://www.seagfocus.com/new/about, but instead of it being fixed, it's scrolls when I am using mobile.
SSemicolon WebSTAFFJun 12, 2021

Firstly must say! What an Amazing Customization! Your Website looks great! :)

  1. This is related to Mixed URLs in your Website. This causes issues with CORs. Make sure that if you have https://www.seagfocus.com in your URL, then other absolute URLs in your Page also starts with https://www.seagfocus.com, else Font Icons, Web Fonts will not load. Also, we think this might be causing issues with the JS Plugins as well. Make sure that your URLs are consistent either with www or not.

  2. This is the Default Functionality of the Lightbox Plugin when using AJAX Content. Consider updating the js/plugins.min.js File with the one attached to this reply.

Additionally, we can see that the JS Plugin errors are not there when using https://www.seagfocus.com/new/ . See attached image.

Hope this Helps!

Thank you guys. Preciate it. It wasn't easy doing it as this was my first attempt at using Canavs. But am sure I'll get the hang of it with time. Been looking for something like this for a long time and am glad I finally found it. Everything accept for the strange characters, works fine now. I will look into it again later.

SSemicolon WebSTAFFJun 14, 2021

Thanks so much for choosing Canvas. While every Template comes with a bit of a Learning Curve, we assure you that the long-term benefits will outweigh the time invested in this.

Regarding the strange characters, we have tried checking this out but we do not see this on Our Devices and also there are no Console Errors. Can you please consider checking this on a different device than yours?

Please would like to know if this issue was fixed in the latest update before I download? As in the plugin.js file and function.js file I was asked to use here?

SSemicolon WebSTAFFAug 11, 2021

Hello,

This is a very isolated issue and currently not reported by any user except yourself. So currently we are not pursuing this as a bug. We are still testing this on different devices so that we can confirm this as an issue on our end, as well as our beta testers so that once this is confirmed we can release a fix for this. Thanks for your Patience.
