Currently, I am testing the ability of a video to run with the template of Coworking. Unfortunately, it can only run if I host it online. If i try to run it via the web browser locally by opening up the html page with a browser, it does not work.
Can I know why?

This is the Default Behavior of the Browser and not the Template. If you try to embed a Youtube Video even on a Blank HTML File without any of our codes, the same would happen. Some Features like iFrames, AJAX and other functionalities related to CORs are blocked by the Browsers by default when using the Local File System. This issue should be automatically resolved if you view the Files using a Localhost based Server (XAMPP/MAMP) or Online Servers.
