Hey!

I just bought a CANVAS template and tried to find the "super easy" options to edit the pages. Seems I need to buy me a complicated websign software application, right? Maybe having chosen WP instead of an HTML template may have been the better solution.

Hello,

Thank You so much for Purchasing Canvas! :)

Since Canvas is a HTML5/CSS3 Template, you will need basic HTML Knowledge in order to edit the Templates and add/edit your Content. Currently, Admin Panel is not included and also yes, if you are looking for a "super easy" solution, then a WordPress Theme would have be ideal. However, currently, you will need to the Edit the HTML manually.

If you need any Customization or Initial Setup help, you can get in touch with us at support@semicolonweb.com with you requirements and we can provide you with further assistance.

Let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues.

Hi,

I'm okay with it and will use another template from today.

And consider CANVAS for my next project. I have HTML code editors and basic routines working with them. The problem is not HTML, but maybe bootstrap or something else.

I can edit everything that's inside the HTML code.

Design elements seem to be defined and only changeable in any .CSS - but I've got millions of CSS files, and understanding the vast package is tricky.

By now, there is one question: Can you tell me what solution I have to go with when I want to change the primary title graphic to my own without destroying the whole template?

Kindest

Bernd

Hello,

Thanks for your Patience!

Since this is a Static HTML Template, the changes are required to be done manually in the CSS Files as these are pre-designed Templates that are provided with the Package and can be modified based on user requirements and their Website's content.

You can consider generating a Custom Package here: http://docs.semicolonweb.com/docs/getting-started/installation/ according to the HTML Files you need for your website and our Package Generator will sort the Files for you to download. Suppose, you need the demo-seo.html Template, simply choose this File in the Package Generator and then press the Generate button. A Custom Package will be generated for you only based on your selected file.

And then you can simply edit those HTML Files manually with some knowledge of HTML/CSS according to your needs in a Text Editor like Sublime Text/VS Code and upload it to your Servers using FTP. We recommend starting with a Localhost Setup on your personal PC/Macbook before you deploy using FTP.

Additionally, it would be great if you can please provide us with a Screenshot of the "primary title graphic" you are mentioning, so that we can provide you with more specific assistance.

Thanks for your Patience!

Meanwhile, do let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues with Canvas.

Hello,

Thanks for your Patience!

Based on the Screenshot you have provided us with it appears that the style.css is missing from the Page which is causing this issue. Consider checking your Browser's Developer Console and you will be able to the see the exact errors and the list of missing files which will be more helpful and will fix the issues more accurately.

Additionally, you can also provide us with a Live URL and we can check this out for you and provide you with more accurate assistance.

Hope this Helps!
