Editing a slider graphically...using the slider editor

Thank you for this wonderful theme!

I am totally lost trying to upload and edit the sliders.

The directions for installation are not clear to me - I have downloaded the visual editor and am not sure where it gets placed on the site listed below.

I am using the spa generated theme and wanted to change the pics and the text without having to use the HTML editors.

I tried uploading the slider editor and can't figure this out for the life of me...I have done themes with sliders in WordPress but not HTML.

Hello,

Thanks so much for the Kind Words! :)

We have just tried installing the Revolution Slider Visual Editor and it appears to be working fine for us. Please consider following the Official Documentation for the Revolution Slider Visual Editor: https://revolution.themepunch.com/visual_editor/documentation/ which should help you immensely in setting up the Visual Editor in the correct way.

Currently, you can customize the Slider only manually editing the HTML codes as the SPA Slider Demos have been created using HTML. The Visual Editor can be used to create New Sliders only at the moment.

Hope this Helps!

Well I do need to edit things like the font family and the placement if you look at the sliders.

Not sure where to do that.

The text is overlapping areas.

Hello,

  1. To change the Font Family, you will need to edit the CSS in the Document ``.

  2. To change the Positions, simply change the data-x and data-y Attributes of the Layers. Please consider checking out the Official Documentations of the Revolution Slider for complete instructions: https://www.themepunch.com/revsliderjquery-doc/responsive-setup-2/ .

Hope this Helps!

Got it installed finally.

Now it keeps taking me on the same cycle: Plugin activation required. It seems to default that this is a Wordpress plugin.

"If you purchased a theme that bundled Slider Revolution
No activation needed to use to use / create sliders with Slider Revolution
Update manually through your theme
Access our FAQ database and video tutorials for help"

and I cannot locate how to get this activated on their site.

Hello,

Since this is a Bundled Plugin, you cannot activate this Plugin but if the New Slider Link is active on your Installation, it means that the Visual Editor is activated and you can create your own Sliders using the New Slider link which is full-featured and has no limitations.

However, to be able to import the Slider from the Official Plugin's Slider Library, you will need to Purchase the Plugin directly from the Plugin Developers and then activate the Slider. This, unfortunately, is a limitation from the Plugin Developers and not by us.

Hope this Helps!
