Hello, I changed up the header a bit and now I am having an issue with the dropdown from the top bar showing up behind the header.

This is due to Customized Codes. Applying the z-index: 399; CSS Property to the #top-bar Element will fix this issue with the Dropdown displaying under the Header, however, the Layout you are trying to use is incorrectly implemented in terms of the Basic Design guidelines and requires more Customization.
We would suggest you to add another blank DIV just above the Top Bar (and remove the Custom Height from #top-bar), like this:
[ch_pre][/ch_pre]
to create a similar effect.
This should definitely work fine. Hope this Helps!
