Hello,
So based on this page http://themes.semicolonweb.com/html/canvas/portfolio-hash-filter.html
Lets say there are 20 'filters', it will be hard to manage / see the filters.
Is there a way to create a dropdown for the filters so they are not all next to each other, but only visible when clicking the drop down?

Using a Dropdown Filter is Definitely Possible and we already a Template included for this: combination-filter-bt-dropdown.html File.
However, you can also consider using an Alternate Portfolio Filter Style: http://themes.semicolonweb.com/html/canvas/portfolio-filter-styles.php which can definitely handle multiple Filter Categories in an Elegant way.
