The Page Menu definitely supports the One Page Functionality which makes the Menu Item active when scrolled to the Specific Section. Please consider checking out this Example: http://themes.semicolonweb.com/html/canvas/index-onepage-2.php . You can find this Template in the Package/HTML Folder with the name: index-onepage-2.html File.
This will definitely work fine. Hope this Helps!
