Hi there!

Is there a tutorial, howto, or something similar to help creating own js-plugins to be integrated?
Pieces of information found @ "Documentation -> Getting Started -> Javascript" is a little insufficient for me.

Once I've put them into action, I will be happy to share my achievements.

Thank you for your response.

Hello,

For using 3rd Party JS Plugins, you will need to link the JS Plugin File directly in the HTML just before the js/functions.js JS File Linking and the Plugin Initialization Codes just after this file. 3rd Party Plugins should work fine with Canvas unless they conflict with the Default Codes (which is very very rare) and we can help you detect if there is an issue.

Hope this Helps!

Including other JS-Files is not really new to me.
I'm trying to run Canvas on a system with yii2 framework on it. As this framework prefers using it's own jquery version and has it's own plugins it is a terrible pain in the back to call all required script-files in the right order.
Not only it would be a much more efficient solution to convert the jquery-plugins required by the framework into canvas-loadable-plugins, it would also make my life and the life of coders running simmilar PHP-frameworks (eg. Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony and many more) much easier.
Besides I guess it would be a very strong sales argument writing "easy to combine with PHP-frameworks" under your envato-offer.

Sad but true I'm exactly in that situation you mentioned and it would be great to get a little more help from you to get canvas php-framework friendy.

Kind regards, Bernhard

Hello,

Apologies for the Delays in replying to your Ticket!

We have looked into the possibilities of this, but unfortunately, it is currently not possible out of the box and will require many customizations and code restructuring. We will definitely try implementing an easy way to integrate the Plugins in the Future Updates. But as we currently do not provide Customization related Support according to the Item Support Policy: https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy . You will need to manually code this or Hire a Freelancer to help you out.

Let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues.
