CSS that controls size of the header

I am trying to use the "logo-changer.html" as a base. What I would like to do is move from a large logo (and to hide the main nav) until the user scrolls, then switch to a smaller wide-format logo once scrolling begins. My "hero" logo is 150x244px (WxH), and my "wide" logo is 360x60px. (see attached jpg as an example). It makes the first load a hero poster, before scrolling to see the information.

What CSS properties control the size of the header divs? There are a LOT of definitions, and I am hoping that layout and modifications of widths/heights of headers, lightboxes, etc are somewhat separated from other parameters (light/dark/transparent/sticky/etc.) in the theme, so that I can modify it easily for different uses.

Thanks!
