CSSが反映されません。

別ファイルにhtml.css.jsを移すとcssが効かなくなります。
パスがいけないのでしょうか？
デスクトップにフォルダを作成し、その中にindex.html,cssファイル,jsファイルを入れています。

htmlの<link>は「css/style.css」と入れています。
cssに前に「HTML/をつけてもファイルが見つかりませんとなってしまいます。
どなたかわかる方いらっしゃったら宜しくお願い致します。
