Hi! Brilliant theme - thansk for all the hard work getti ng it together an dkeeping it contemporary!
I've tried to get the contact form to work on my site over the past couple of weeks, but no luck. I originally left the smtp section of form.php empty (no luck) then added one of the site email addresses and pws to the smtp section (as per instructed in your docu section). Again, no joy. The form just hangs with the animation. I also asked my host providers if there was an possible issue on their end, but no.
Any support would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Thanks so much for the Kind Words and Apologies for the Inconveniences caused!

Hello,

Since your Form File: include/form.php (https://anpuca.ie/include/form.php) is returning a 500 Internal Server Error, it is an indication that this is a Server Configuration issue or a PHP Error.

Please consider adding the .customjs Class to the .form-widget DIV and then the following code at the very top of your include/form.php File just after the opening php tags:
[ch_pre type="php"]error_reporting(E_ALL);[/ch_pre]

which should display all the possible errors. Please notify us about the Error Message you see, after going through the process above, so that we can provide you with further assistance on this.

Additionally, would it be possible for you to provide us with FTP Credentials in a private reply, so that we can check this for you and fix it? Thanks for your Patience.

Meanwhile, do let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues with Canvas.

Hi,

Thank you for the prompt response - and the (hopefully) a solution. I'm not entirely sure how to add the class mentioned above (I'm a bit wysiwyg unfortunately), but I'll give it a shot when I'm back at the site-desk!!

I'm a bit hesitant to share access, but here is my ftp access as requested in case you do have the chance to check this and fix it (much appreciated ;) )

FTP Hostname: anpuca.ie or cpanel4.webworld.ie
FTP Username: anpucaie
FTP Password: 1Az@1Mm5Ah9mU+

Thanks again for the great work and super backup service.

Hi again,

Unfortunately, the form is still not working: I tried your suggestion (please see image to confirm I added it correctly) but there's no change except I now get the error 500 page.

(I added an email hyperlink because there is no way to be contacted without the form working.)

I sent you my ftp creds in the last message if you want to check if I missed something.

Can you give any extra help on this please?? Many thanks in advance.

Hello,

Thanks for your Patience and Apologies for the Delays!

Please make sure your Server’s PHP Version is more than 5.6 or preferably the Latest Version. This will automatically fix the issue.

Hope this Helps!

Let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues.

Hi - unfortunately, this is not solved and I'm now late on this. The server PHP version is 8.1.27. and there's no difference.

Hello,

We have just checked out your Website and the PHP Version is 5.3.x which is why this is not working. You can check this by simply going to https://anpuca.ie/include/form.php . Once your Server is updated and uses the Latest PHP version, it will automatically take effect here.

Hope this Helps!

Let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues.

Thank you for this updated info. I've contacted my hosts to inform them of this and hope to have things sorted soon. I'll confirm if and when.

Have a good weekend.

Hi - Further to my last reply: Again thank you for the patience and expertise you're showing here: the form IS working.

I'm having a problem (someone else here posted about): the page goes to include/form.php with the message '{ "alert": "success", "message": "We have successfully received your Message and will get Back to you as soon as possible." }'

I've no other js (that I'm aware of) interfering. Hope you can solve this (final) issue! Cheers ;)

Hello,

Very Happy to Help! :)

Simply remove the .customjs Class from the .form-widget DIV and this should be resolved.

Hope this Helps!
