Contact form hangs

I've tried utilizing the contact form / sendemail.php in the one page layout and every time I click submit the page has the processing cirlce just perpetually spinning. The email never arrives and the re-captcha times out.

I have made minimal changes to the code so I'm not quite sure why this would happen. Inspecting the page via chrome doesn't provide any obvious culprits.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I have the same problem after updating to 4.5.

I deliberately cause an error on the server side. In version 4.4 it was showing a red alert in the user interface. After 4.5 upgrade the spinner never stops.

Note: when the server side problem is fixed the contact form correctly displays successful message with green background

Hello,

The issue with the Contact Form causes mostly due to a Server Issue when the Hosting Provider block some normal PHP Functions related to PHPMailer Plugin which processes the Form Emails. Can you please provide us with a Live URL so that we can check out the exact issue and provide you with a more accurate solution for this. Thanks for your Patience.

Meanwhile, do let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues with Canvas.
