Changing fonts

I am very happy with the Canvas template - thank you.

I am writing a page for a Russian audience, so I need to change the Google fonts to ones suitable for Cyrillic that will also maintain the visual appeal of the site.

As I understand I will need to remove Raleway, Lato and Crete+Round from the head of the document and replace with RU compatible fonts.

I notice your instructions for changing fonts says to make similar changes in css/fonts.css - no problem there.

I also notice that style.css has numerous references to the standard Google fonts - I presume all these references will need updating as well (even though the instructions for changing fonts don't mention this css file).

Can you suggest replacement fonts suitable for RU that would have similar visual characteristics to the original fonts?

Hello,

Thanks for your Patience!

According to the Documentation, you can simply change the Fonts mentioned inside the css/fonts.css File as these fonts will overwrite the Font Families declared in the style.css File, so you do not have to Edit the style.css, just the css/fonts.css File.

You can consider using this Font: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Podkova?selection.family=Podkova .

This will definitely work fine. Hope this Helps!
