I want to change the color of iconalt.svg, but when I save it, it becomes visible all the time on the web page, not just on hover. Why? The only thing I do is to change the color, nothing else.

Hello,

The iconalt.svg is visible on the Page all the time by default. There is no code in the style.css File which displays it on Hover. Simply search iconalt.svg in the style.css File and you will see the codes used around this.

Hope this Helps!

Hello,

The question was more about how I can change the color of iconalt.svg from black to red. When I open it in Adobe Illustrator, change the color and save it (nothing else), the icon which iconalt.svg covers looks like "on Hover" all the time even though I do not Hover. Normally, iconalt.svg is only visible to the user on hover but my icon looks like that all the time after having saved iconalt.svg in AI.

In other words: how do I change the color of iconalt.svg?

Could anyone from the SemiColonWeb Team please answer?

Hello,

Thanks for your Patience!

The iconalt.svg File is actually White. Instead of editing it on the Illustrator, please edit it on a Text Editor to avoid conflicts. Simply change the #FFFFFF Color code to your desired color.

This will definitely work fine. Hope this Helps!
