Carousel to contain 40 images.

Hi there,

Template being used from : https://themes.semicolonweb.com/html/canvas/index-magazine.html

Im looking to use the photo carousel from the top the weblink mentioned above. This carousel has 6 images with their thumbnails at the bottom.
I want to use the carousel to display my brochure which has 40 pages.
Is there a way, we can have this template display thumbnails of only 6 pages at a time, yet have a possibility of the carousel containing 40 images ?
When i include all 40 images in the carousel, there are 40 thumbnails created at the moment. This makes it look really clumsy and bulky.

What i want is the carousel should contain all 40 pages, but should show thumbnails of only the present 6 pages.

Please help me out here.
