Caption with solid background at bottom of Canvas Slider

Hi. Thanks for replying in the comments section. As you can see, I've bought Canvas again.

I attach a screenshot mock-up of what I would like to achieve - basically a caption in the bottom of Canvas Slider in the template:
Package-HTML/HTML/header-side-left.html

Ideally the caption would push the images in the slider up, rather than overlay the images, as the caption will cover parts of the photo.

So another solution might be to have the full-screen slider set to 80 percent height, and then I could put the caption in the <section id="content">.
(I think the full-screen slider height is controlled by javascript that overrides styles, and setting a pixel height for the slider will not work - it needs to be a percentage height.)

Thanks for your help!

This forum keeps logging me out saying I don't have a licence! But clearly I DO!

It would not let me upload the previous screenshot, so here's another...

Hello,

Thank You so much for the elaborate description! Actually, this is really easy to achieve and is already built into Canvas! Consider using this Template: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1np5cu9r4llaqw9/header-side-left-negative-height.html?dl=1 .

All you have to do is add the data-negative-height="150" Attribute to the #slider Element. This only works with the Full Screen Functionality.

This will definitely work fine. Hope this Helps!
