I've read through Documentation as well as a support forum topic on sizing headers. What I'm trying to wrap my head around is other modifications to CSS to achieve what I need. Changing header size is changing the height of the header. What I am looking for is the proper way to shift the relationship the 'logo' portion of the header to that of the nav and search/cart portions of the header.
My desire is to increase the size/width of the 'logo' part of the header slightly without necessarily the height of the header too much.
You will see in my screengrab image ending on _01, the logo in the original 'full-header' size. If I add the 'header-size-lg' to the header tag, as seen in my screengrab image ending in _02, the logo increases (using the @2x retina sized logo), but the header height is larger than I need it. This probably has something to do with the margin/padding set for the header in CSS. Additionally, the left third of the header where the logo is seems to be a fixed pixel width. If I could change the width of the left third and perhaps tweak margin/padding on the header, I may get the result I am looking for.
I'm not sure what workaround is possible, but would like your feedback.
I've been working with the Canvas template for a few years. I have typically not tinkered around with the CSS too much. Typically for slight color changes. Most of the CSS styling delivers what I need for this client.
Thanks in advance.
Brian
