Hi there,

We have been trying to change the meta description on your one-page (op-section-2.html template), but have been unsuccessful. I have tried adding this tag:
<meta name="description" content="Ceiling Boyz is the trusted name in drywalling, ceiling and partitioning installation in Johannesburg. Contact our offices on (+27) 011 682 3410.">

But it only displays when I inspect element in the browser, but not when I search through google.

The google search gives two different descriptions for our site. Here is our URL:
http://www.theceilingboyz.co.za/

When we type in the url in the google search bar, it displays this description:
The Ceiling Boyz
www.theceilingboyz.co.za/
We are a company specialising in ceilings, drywalls, partitions, bulkheads and cornice work of all forms. Majority of our business is gained by referrals and word of mouth, which speaks volumes about our service. With more than 5 years experience and growing stronger every day, we aim to give you the best price matched .

When I just type in the company name, the description is as follows:
The Ceiling Boyz
www.theceilingboyz.co.za/
|our services|. Ceiling Boyz is the trusted name in drywalling, ceiling and partitioning installation in Johannesburg. The scope of our work ranges from ceiling installation for the private home to shop fittings for the smallest shop premises to the largest of projects - no job is too big or too small. Our services include: ...

I realise this function has been built into the theme. PLease can you let me know how to turn this script off so that the template with use our same meta description for any type of searches done through Google.

Thanks

Hello,

This is not built in the Template and there is no script inside Canvas to modify this. You are free to add a Description as required by you and none of the Codes in the Canvas will interfere with this. The way this is showed on Google is decided by Google and their Algorithm. This is nothing to do with the Codes within the Template. Consider Google Webmaster Tools.

Hope this Helps!
