The default code appears to make the right most item of the breadcrumb too close to the right side. Is that the intended spacing?

Hello,

Definitely Not! We Really Apologize for the Inconveniences caused! This is a Bug and most likely cause due to a Bootstrap Upgrade when the .containers started using padding instead of margins. Find the following code inside the #page-title DIV:
[ch_pre][/ch_pre]

with the following code:
[ch_pre][/ch_pre]

This will definitely work fine. We will include this fix in an Update. Hope this Helps!

Is it ok to change all instances of this to the updated code you list? And if so, does it matter that 2 instances in the template (full-width-wide.html) had clearfix and the others didn't:

Hello,

The Default Codes with the .px-5 Padding Utility Class is recommended as that's the Default Bootstrap Codes and follows the Bootstrap's padding structure. The Modified Codes we had provided you above was to properly align the Breadcrumbs which uses position: absolute;. We are changing this in Canvas 7 and the Page Title will be a lot more flexible, not requiring any extra utility classes to the .container-fluid DIVs. Also, you can remove the .clearfix classes as they are not required anymore and we will be removing this in the next update as well.

Hope this Helps!

Thanks for the info. Any more you can say on when you expect the near term update as well as the future Canvas 7 update?

SSemicolon WebSTAFFJun 4, 2022

Hello,

The Next Update will be Canvas 7. We have been actively working on it since January. We have been making improvements to the Source Codes which includes moving completely to SCSS as the Source CSS, introducing CSS Variables, building New Niche Demos, Blocks, new additional features which includes improvements to Overall UI, Forms Functionality and Writing JS from Scratch to make it more flexible, partially introducing no-jQuery for some components and a module based approach. This should be released by the end of this month but we cannot confirm and commit an Exact Date of release as of yet as we are still working on this and fixing minor issues.

Hope this Helps!

Hopefully easier upgrade than version 5 to 6 I hope?

SSemicolon WebSTAFFJun 4, 2022

Hello,

Yes, definitely easier as only handful of HTML Components have been rewritten. But the CSS/JS Codes have been mostly rewritten (to introduce CSS Variables but the class names have not been changed) and will have to updated from scratch if the Core CSS/JS Files have been changed. This is the reason why we have always encouraged using css/custom.css and JS Files in the past.
