I was wondering does canvas use a specific blog system? I'm looking at using it on my site and the tempaltes look great but i don't really want to have to use/ edit html each time.

Hello,
Since Canvas is a Static HTML5/CSS3 Template, the Blog Templates have been provided only for Templating/Designing Purposes. Unfortunately, you will need to manually Edit the HTML Files every time you add a New Post as this is standard with all the HTML5 Templates. For automation, you will need to integrate the Blog Templates manually into a Blog System.
