Hi there:

This is my first experience with Canvas and I was wondering if using something like DreamWeaver or Wordpress and load the template may be the best poosibility to customize things?

I've seen that other template and site providers like LeadGen provide a Builder but I assume that this is not the case with Canvas and wondering what would be the easiest approach since I am familiar with both Dreamweaver and wordpress.

Thanks for the input

Hello,

Thank You so much for Purchasing Canvas! :)

Since Canvas is a Static HTML5/CSS3 Template, it does not support WordPress or a Builder. Some users have been using Dreamweaver without any issues but we do not recommend it entirely since there have been some reports of Slowness while using Dreamweaver.

You will need to have some knowledge of HTML/CSS and a Text Editor like Sublime Text, Notepad++ or equivalent will be required to edit the Template Files to Add/Edit the Content.

Hope this Helps!

Hi have experience editing html but have been used to see changes as you go. This being said, I probably can pull it off. What I am not sure I understand is how all the elements at put together or available to be added together. So for instance if I wanted to use the corporate_4 template but change the menu would it mean that I simply have to capture the code of the menu I want to use and replace it in the corporate template?

Assuming then that the logic that I state above is correct then would that mean that once assemble I could save this as my index.html file and upload with the necessary css and image folders?

Sorry for the very basic questions but this is a bit confusing and want to make sure I understand the dynamic of how to build a site using your templates.

Thanks,'

JT

Hello,

Not at all! We are always here to help you with any confusions or issues you are facing.

Yes Absolutely! That is correct! You can copy any Element from one Template and copy it to another Template to create your own Template. Except the elements between Niche Demos as they have their own unique Styles and Functionalities. However, you can still use the Elements from the Classic Templates and use them in the Niche Demos.

Hope this Helps!
