Hello there is there a way to add a background image on any section instead of light/dark etc.

</div>How would I add an image so that it's in the background?

You will need to use the Basic CSS for this either by adding an inline style or using the CSS Settings. Example:
<div class="section" style="background: url('images/parallax/3.jpg') center center; background-size: cover; padding: 100px 0;">
...
