Hello! I have followed the instructions to enable and customize the autoresponder, but it is not working.
URL: http://bigapplehomeloan.com/apply.html

I added the SMTP settings into the form.php code and I receive an SMTP error and cannot send the form.
Right now, form works fine but the autoresponder does not work.

I am trying to use a normal gmail account for the autoresponder.
I went in and lessened security as mentioned in the documentation.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Cheers,
Meredith

Hello,

We have checked out your Website and the issue appears to be with the missing prefix setting in your Form:

Make sure that you add this code in the Form as explained in the Documentation, so that your code looks like this:

This should automatically fix this issue. Hope this Helps!

Let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues.

Ah!!! I thought I was overlooking something small like that... THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Any directions in the documentation for how to redirect to a thank you page upon form submission?

Thanks for the great theme :)))

Hello,

Very Happy to Help!

Simply add the data-redirect="https://your-website.com/thank-you.html" to the .form-widget Element. Example:

This will definitely work fine. Hope this Helps!

Thank you so much!!

My autoresponder is now working on my Apply page, but I added the same code to my quick contact forms and am getting a "bot detected" error message.

Any idea what may be causing this?

Thanks again!!

Hello,

There are couple of errors in the Form:

  1. The prefix Setting has been set twice. First time as quick-contact-form- and second time as template-contactform-. Remove the second one.

  2. Since the prefix used is quick-contact-form-, it is recommended that all the Field name's uses the same prefix. So template-contactform-file should be quick-contact-form-file and so on.

Make sure that you read the Entire Documentation > Forms Section and the important pointers mentioned there so that you do not face similar issues in the future. Additionally, it would be a great idea to check the Form Codes for the forms-*.html related Templates to get a deeper understanding of how the Forms work. This will help you create more advanced Forms for your Website.

Hope this Helps!
