Announcement: Canvas 6 Update (Delayed!)

First of all, we hope that you and your loved ones are Safe and Healthy. Please Stay extra careful and vigilant in these difficult circumstances. We pray that this unfortunate time passes soon and the world gets back to normal once again.

Regarding the Canvas 6 Update, we would firstly like to Apologize profusely for the continuous delays. These past few weeks have been really crazy. We have experienced lack of staff, lockdowns and what not. We truly appreciate your patience and continuous support. We would like to assure you that Canvas 6 is actively being worked upon and will now be available on April 2, 2020. Canvas 6 has been improved a lot and heavily restructured with a Lot of HTML/CSS/JS Changes to accommodate flexibility and deep shortcode/component integrations. A Lot of things have been re-worked upon including Responsive Design, Code Reusability resulting in smaller files and asset management resulting in faster load times. Now, since Canvas 6 is so much different than the older versions, it is highly recommended to keep a Backup and then start upgrading. Detailed Changelog and Migration Guides will be provided but since this is an HTML Template, unfortunately, you will need to make the updates to the codes manually by following the guides. Personalized Customization Support will not be provided for this. But we assure you that by following the guides, everything should work fine. And as we have explained multiple times before, never edit the Default Files (or always keep a log of the changes made to the specific files) so that it is not hard to make upgrades. We are proud of what we have achieved with Canvas 6 and hope you will like it as well.

We hope you are doing well and staying home! Self-Isolation is Very Important at the moment, so please make sure you keep yourself and others around you safe.

As you all know that Canvas 6 was supposed to be released today, however, it appears that there would be a minor delay. We would like to really apologize about this but we are really short-handed at the moment due to the current situation. We never release updates without adequate testing and since there are more than 1000+ Files in the Package with countless features, this is taking a lot of time as we have to update the codes in all of the files, then test all the features, design, responsiveness (in multiple devices) and validations. We request you to please be patient with us. We ensure you that we are trying to deliver the release as early as possible. Our deadline for Canvas 6 is next week, and it could be any day! But next week for sure! We hope you understand and allow us to keep providing you with a Better Product.

Thanks for your Continued Patience and Apologies about the Delay!

We are stuck on some important components, including SASS, small integrations (and some Documentation). Due to the unnatural circumstances and lack of personnel, there have been numerous delays. As we have mentioned earlier, we have been trying to do something new with Canvas 6. There are so many new features and improvements, we had to change everything. All 1000+ Templates, plus we have added more and more examples. Its like making a New Template! A Much Better One to ensure that everything is Future Proof. To ensure that the future updates we make, bring in a lot of more value. To ensure that when you try to create a Website from Scratch using Canvas, you can create whatever you can. We are creating Canvas 6 for you, every code is being written manually! Not Copied, as other Templates copy shamelessly (unfortunately). We really do care about the Quality and Originality! Canvas 6 is for you and we are working day and night to release it as soon as we can to live up to the expectations Canvas has created for itself! And we will not disappoint. You have always supported us and we couldn’t be more grateful! And we are more than Sorry for the Delays but Canvas 6 is no small update. We feel terribly bad and guilty for delaying the release so many times which looks like false promises. But Canvas 6 is the New Future for Canvas and we have to ensure that everything goes well. We hope you understand. We will not give an Exact Date this time. We will just release it at the earliest. Thanks for waiting and always being supportive. We need it the most right now.
