I have managed to follow https://rudrastyh.com/wordpress/load-more-posts-ajax.html to load posts with ajax, however i'm using the accordion in canvas to display the posts and the posts that get loaded in with ajax are always 'open'. Hoe can I set the initial state of ajax loaded posts to 'closed'

According to the Issue you are facing it appears that the Accordions loaded from the AJAX Requests do not get initialized. Simply consider calling the SEMICOLON.widget.accordions(); after the AJAX success Callback.
