Adding Announcement Bar

Question

Hello,

My client is requesting that I add an announcement bar to the very top of each page in case of special promotions, closures, etc.

Is there any turn key solution for this feature? I know I can simply build and add that as a manual update whenever those circumstances occur but am hoping to provide them with a nontechnical method of adding/removing announcements so that I don't have to do that manually each time.

Please advise on any recommendation you think is relevant.

Hello,

Unfortunately, this is currently not available with Canvas. Additionally, since Canvas is a Static HTML Template, you will need to manually add the codes each time you need to show an announcement. The function you are looking for is typically available only on WordPress Themes.
