Adding a sticky menu (from the icon menu of "Menu 9") to "index" layout

Hello; thank you for being there.

I'm stucked in my way to add an sticky aditional menu, Google style, to the layout that I'm using as a basis, which is the one named "index.html" in your html package. The idea is simple: conserve the behavior of your "index.html" model, but with an aditional sticky menu on top.
I have been able to add the sticky menu; the problem is that the animation of your original menu behaves as if the sticky menu doesn't exist..., is there an easy way to say to the hole page "hey, you are working great, just do the same 40 pixels below, because you now have an sticky menu using those upper 40 pixels"?

I attach the modified files, hoping that you can help me... I've spent hours trying to find the solution, but the code is too complicated to my skills. Thank you in advance.

As the system didn't allow me to upload the html file, I attach the code in an txt file.

Cheers
