403 forbidden error on subdomain

Hello, I recently purchased Canvas 7 and am working on replacing my existing website with the Canvas template. My main domain is still active with the old website (www.TScustomsuits.com). I created the subdomain newsite.tscustomsuits.com to build and test the new site before I replace the old one.

In my FTP root folder I created a folder named newsite. This is where I placed all the Canvas 7 Files. I have also placed the index.html file inside the newsite folder and NOT inside its original path within the Canvas 7 Files folder. I don't know what to do to make this Canvas template site visible on the subdomain so I can work on the webpage.

Can you please help with this? Thank you.

Hello,

Thanks for your Patience! Glad the issue was resolved.

This looked like an issue with the Server Configuration. The Canvas Files does not block anything or return 403 Errors.

Please do let us know if we can help you with anything else or if you find any further issues with Canvas.
